The purpose of this study was to verify the sequential mediating effects of psychological well-being and achievement motivation on the family health among college students, which in turn influences their grit. To this end, 318 college students participated in the study and completed self-reported measures on family health, psychological well-being, motivation for achievement, and grit. The results indicated that family health does not directly affect the grit.
